A QUEER ASIAN COMMUNITY

AQUA is a space created by and for queer Asians of marginalized genders in Tkaronto.
Queer being anyone who identifies as being anywhere along the 2SLGBTQQII+ spectrum Asian being anyone from Asia, including East, SouthEast, South, SouthWest, West, and North Asian; and marginalized genders including cis and trans women, non-binary folks, trans men and gender diverse people. Marginalized genders being people whose genders have been systematically oppressed by those in power throughout history and have been made to feel unsafe because of their gender. 

We work with and for our community to create connections, foster friendships, provide social support, host events and workshops, and serve our community!

AQUA Holiday Gathering

AQUA will be hosting a jolly jubilee this December, complete with a potluck, good company, and an art jam.  Join us for a chill (but not cold) holiday celebration, and make sure to bring something to share with everyone!  Some food and art supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own, as well.


We'll be at CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2C2) on Friday, December 13th from 6:00-8:00pm EST. Instructions to the location / room as well as any dietary restrictions will be collected via a collective google spreadsheet.

Note this will be a sober event.
