A QUEER ASIAN COMMUNITY
AQUA is a space created by and for queer Asians of marginalized genders in Tkaronto.
Queer being anyone who identifies as being anywhere along the 2SLGBTQQII+ spectrum Asian being anyone from Asia, including East, SouthEast, South, SouthWest, West, and North Asian; and marginalized genders including cis and trans women, non-binary folks, trans men and gender diverse people. Marginalized genders being people whose genders have been systematically oppressed by those in power throughout history and have been made to feel unsafe because of their gender.
We work with and for our community to create connections, foster friendships, provide social support, host events and workshops, and serve our community!

Friday, Sept 27th 6:30-8:30pm
Introducing our first Cooking with AQUA! Sushi Making 101!
Join AQUA on Friday, September 27th from 6:30–8:30pm for an exciting cooking workshop Sushi Making 101 with Roll this Way Sushi!
Together, we'll learn how to make 28 pieces of sushi, including Maki, Uramaki, Temaki, and Nigiri. During the event, we will be seated together, and there is an option to partake in a complimentary sake bomb from the venue.
Capacity: This event will be capped at 8–10 people!
Cost: Each ticket will be priced at $35 per person.
AQUA will contact you via email to confirm your spot before you send out the e-transfer.
